Moment in time-Kayaking

Kayaking
Here I am, in my kayak paddling wildly towards Stingray Bay. I felt the wet paddle in my sweaty palms. I smelt the salty sea water in my bright yellow kayak. I saw the dazzling bays and cool, colossal coves. I heard the sound of sea water rushing past as I paddled my kayak further and further away from the beach.
Finally we were at super, special Stingray Bay. I could see a stingray as it whizzed past my brilliant boat. Trying to chase it, I lost track. I felt determined to find it. But the stingray won. It disappeared out of sight. The feeling of seeing a stingray was awesome. I felt I was going to burst with excitement.
As we paddled towards the mine, I was expecting to see a huge chimney with copper painted blue. But it was just a horrible hole in the middle of a cool cliff. But the horrible history behind it was awesomely awesome. When we were paddling our wondering way back to terrific Camp Bentzon, I was as happy as a lark and as proud as a lion to see a stingray. The water was doing the Mexican Wave as I paddled my happy kayak towards Camp Bentzon. The water was dancing past me. Finally we were at the camp site. I could finally have my morning tea.
I.K.
